JD One鈥檚 Member designed the packaging for its sanitary pads, highlighting the product鈥檚 鈥渓ight, soft, and breathable鈥� qualities. The design strikes a balance between natural comfort and artistic elegance, meeting consumers鈥� expectations for both practical functionality and visual appeal.
The packaging centers on the core product feature, 鈥渁ir cotton鈥�. Drawing inspiration from core material, cotton, it celebrates the beauty of nature. The design illustrates cotton with soft strokes and gradient tones in a hand-drawn colored-pencil style, echoing sanitary pads鈥� 100% cotton layer while conveying a natural, pure, and comfortable living attitude鈥攎aking users feel as if they are embraced by nature during use. The two words 鈥渁ir cotton鈥� feature a custom typeface, with strokes mimicking the gentle curves of cotton. A creative combination of pink-gold hot stamping and embossing gives the lettering a warm metallic sheen and an embossed texture, turning an abstract idea into a concrete sensory experience. Packaging for different products adopts different low-saturation color palettes. Day-use sanitary pads use a blue-and-pink scheme for a fresh, lively daytime vibe, while night-use sanitary pads feature yellow-and-pink tones to create a calm and soothing nighttime atmosphere. This not only differentiates product types but also adds emotional resonance, giving the line a unique personality while maintaining a cohesive artistic style. The layout emphasizes a harmonious balance of order and white space. Key information, such as the brand logo and the 鈥渁ir cotton鈥� lettering, is highlighted while artistic illustrations add atmosphere, avoiding over-decoration and preventing information overload. By keeping a clear hierarchy and balanced spacing, the packaging allows consumers to grasp the key information at a glance, while conveying a sense of simplicity, elegance, and refined style.
