The project is situated beside the Guangfulin Archaeological Park in Songjiang, the cradle of Shanghai's culture. Leveraging the landscape framework of "Nine Peaks and Three Lakes" (Jiufeng Sanmao) and millennia of cultural sedimentation (from the Liangzhu to Tang and Song dynasties), the designers employed the "Ten Scenes of Fuling" (Fulin Shijing) as spatio-temporal coordinates. By deconstructing traditional cultural essences—such as the ethos of the Wei-Jin period, the elegance of classical poetry, and the spirit of landscape painting—they distilled their quintessence into a contemporary design language. This approach crafts a tangible, explorable, and livable poetic habitat within the urban fabric, achieving a modern expression of Shanghai's cultural lineage and an innovative reimagining of Eastern aesthetics.

Modern Expression of Cultural Symbols:
Reviving Liangzhu Iconography: The core motif of the "Divine Beast Mask" (Shenren Shoumianwen) from Liangzhu jade cong (ritual vessels) was abstracted and integrated into architectural details, spatial interfaces, and the visual identity system. This forges a unique cultural signature, enhancing memorability and fostering a sense of belonging.
Translating Poetic Imagery: Inspired by the poem Hengpu Guifan ("Sails Returning at Hengpu"), an abstract "boat"-shaped stone sculpture (crafted from Heishan stone with chiseled rock textures) was created. Combined with golden ceramic shards (evoking sunset) and ripple-effect wall sconces, it cultivates a serene ambiance for homecoming.
Activating Intangible Heritage: Songjiang shadow puppetry, lacquerware, and Gu embroidery were thoughtfully incorporated into spatial details, presenting a flowing tableau of folk culture and deepening cultural immersion.
Innovative Scenarios & Spatial Narratives:
