Hsinchu City鈥檚 first large-scale urban camping event, the Wind City Camping Festival, will take place on May 17-18 and May 24-25, 2025, at Danan Ya Park. The event invites citizens to step into the "Future Forest" within the city and embark on their own Wind City camping adventure. The first weekend of the festival received overwhelming enthusiasm, attracting thousands of participants!

This year, the festival introduces the "Digital Camping" concept, merging modern technology with camping. Citizens will enjoy a two-day, one-night camping experience in the heart of Hsinchu City, breaking the traditional limits of camping locations and creating an unprecedented blend of urban life and nature.

Seven Thematic Zones:
The event features seven thematic zones offering diverse and enriching experiences, including:

"Wild Stage" Music Performances: A fusion of music and nature.

"Starry Night Camping Area": Experience camping under the stars.

"Style Wilderness" Artisan Camping Area: Showcasing camping aesthetics.

"Family Bounce Zone": Fun family-friendly inflatable play areas.

"Handmade Forest" DIY Experience: Inspiring creativity with hands-on activities.

"Windy Market" Local Fair: Featuring local flavors and crafts from Hsinchu.

"Outdoor Knowledge Hub": Expert lectures on camping and outdoor living.

Evening Highlights:
At night, the "Starry Sky Cinema" and "Swinging Campfire Dance" will be the highlights, creating a romantic atmosphere unique to Wind City. The "Swinging Campfire Dance", performed by the Swing Taiwan retro swing dance group, combines Tech Campfires with jazz music, creating a camping experience like never before.

Interactive Engagement:
The event also features the special "Top 10 Tent Styles 脳 Hsinchu鈥檚 Top 10 Policies" initiative. Each tent design reflects key city policies. Participants can easily learn about these policies through an interactive game and earn limited-edition forest-themed gifts, increasing interactivity and public engagement.
