The architectural scheme synthesizes Southern California's casual elegance with Shanghai's metropolitan sophistication, crafting a living environment that seamlessly integrates artistic curation, leisure functionality, and intergenerational bonding. The ground floor adopts an open-plan design, connecting an 8.5-meter grand living room, a double-height dining area, and integrated Western and Chinese kitchens. Hollow solid wood carved partitions enhance spatial privacy while maintaining visual transparency, allowing seamless family interaction from the entrance. A doorless design and fluid circulation create a relaxed atmosphere. The basement houses hobby zones (billiards, home theater, bar, dart area), featuring vintage Spanish factory tiles sourced from old workshops. These limited-edition tiles are strategically placed at the entrance and bar counter to form focal points, while custom display cabinets transform the homeowner’s collectibles into artistic installations. The second floor prioritizes comfort and privacy, with a master suite tailored to the owners’ habits and a study for quiet work.
