The design uses glass curtain walls, skylights, and roof glazing to bring in as much natural light as possible, while adjustable metal blinds help manage Hainan鈥檚 strong sunlight. The setup creates a bright, warm indoor space that gives patients a hopeful, positive atmosphere. Dr. Kapok Hospitel鈥檚 design focuses not just on aesthetics, but also on human-centered sustainable development. The design team has blended hotel-style functionality with a Japanese garden-inspired 鈥渕icro-neighborhood鈥� landscape. They鈥檝e used plants and stones to enhance the outdoor spaces, allowing the natural environment to flow into the building. The rooftop garden is designed to serve both as a landscape feature and an environmental solution. It uses plants for shading and cooling through transpiration, while also capturing rainwater for irrigation.
