In 2022, the theme "Transformation" symbolized the city's metamorphosis as it evolved. In 2023, the focus shifted to "Turning Miracles", where art became a catalyst for boundless energy and creativity.
For 2024, the theme "Bloom" represents the flourishing of diverse and inclusive artistic expressions, nurtured by accumulated creativity and energy. This year introduces a range of innovative activities, including 鈥淏OBO Ball鈥�, a vibrant installation of multicolored thread spheres that evoke the interplay between water and air, and 鈥淔rench Painting & Fabric Bag Illustration鈥�, an immersive fusion of visual and interactive experiences.
"Bloom" signifies the blossoming of artistic works and represents the continuous cultural expansion of Lingya District, fueling an ever-growing artistic momentum within the community.
The 2024 Arts Festival embraces the theme "Bloom", integrating its core visual concept into various artistic creations.
One of the highlights is the handcrafted "BOBO Ball" installation, where vibrant, spherical structures symbolize the free-flowing interaction between water and air amidst the tree canopy. Extending from the main stage backdrop throughout the entire park, these colorful orbs create a light and uplifting atmosphere, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the serenity of nature.
The "Antelope Installation Art" also continues the festival鈥檚 longstanding tradition. Since its inception, Lingya District has welcomed twenty large and two small antelope sculptures, forming a distinctive artistic landmark. This year鈥檚 centerpiece is a green-hued antelope adorned with budding sprouts, embodying the harmonious vitality of art and nature. Moving forward, a new themed antelope will be introduced annually, creating an evolving lineup that welcomes visitors year after year and ensures the lasting legacy of the festival鈥檚 artistic and cultural spirit.
Through murals, installations, and performances, the Lingya Arts Festival continues to reimagine public spaces鈥攅xpanding creative possibilities within parks, communities, and the city itself.
